The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Elaine Nilsen can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence From: Jodiann Macklin
Condolence: I was so blessed to meet Elaine in person at our Grobanite Fanily Reunion this is when I first met her, Elaine was full of zest, she was funny and outgoing and her smile was contagious, she was fun to be around.

I have had lots of conversations with her just about everything under the sun and more from medical in general to about God and her belief and outlook on life. She was a great person and her spirit reflected it outwardly. I will miss her dearly and was heartbroken to hear about her passing, she was a big part of our group and also Christian Fellowship group. My condolences to her family may they gain strength by what everyone has been sharing within these pages and know that Elaine may be gone in physical relm from our sides, but she has left a piece of her Spirit with each of us and will always remain in our hearts for she planted a seed within and that will always grow and remain forever. Love you Elaine, heaven is shining a bit brighter since you are up there and God is laughing a bit louder now with more of a giggle because you are by his side singing Josh Groban songs, and he is saying now wait a minute his voice sounds much deeper than that?!

Condolence: Dear Elaine,
My Twitter friend and fellow Grobanite.
I was so lucky to have known you and I am so glad that we had the opportunity to meet face to face on two occasions when I flew over from the UK.
I remember your lovely warm smile and your heart as big as all outdoors.
You will be greatly missed by so many of us.
Sweet sleep my friend.

Condolence: My “Anut” Elaine....where do I even begin? Life will not be the same knowing you will never walk through the door again, usually late. From countless holidays, birthdays and visits for no reason. From quoting our favorite Christmas movie all year round to taking me to see Annie on Broadway, to staying with me when Robert was in the NICU. From laughing so hard we cried to telling us stories when you were younger to taking random pictures looking for orbs. From watching you spoil my boys to getting me to put my flower girl dress on for Uncle Charlie and Aunt Dawn’s wedding to our many weekends together when you would watch me..I could go on... There is a big piece of my heart missing now. You are now my guardian angel, please watch over us, this is going to be a rough time for all that knew and loved you.
