VERNA DeBERNARDIS, 86, of Jackson Twp., NJ, passed away peacefully on November 13, 2018.
Verna was born in Brooklyn NY on Dec 22, 1931. She married the love of her life John DeBernardis on April 26, 1952 and began to grow their family with daughter Jacqueline and son John DeBernardis Jr.
Verna was an avid reader and loved to travel with John and spend time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband, John,; her daughter, Jacqueline; her son, John and his wife, Sharon; her sisters, Carol Olivetti-Lowsky and Gloria Jirouschek; her granddaughters, Amy Mustica and Sophia; her grandsons, Greg Pulchlopek and his wife, Rachel, Alex, and Justin; her greatgrandsons, Jordan and Joshua Pulchlopek; and by her extended family and life-long friends.
A celebration of Verna’s life will be held from 1-3 PM with her Memorial Service at 2:30 PM on Saturday, November 17, 2018, at the GEORGE S. HASSLER FUNERAL HOME, 980 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ 08527. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Verna’s memory to The Michael J.
