Obituary for Lilja Fischer (Struladottir)
LILJA FISCHER, 90, of Jackson Twp., NJ, passed away on Tuesday, January 15, 2019, at Chelsea of Toms River, Toms River, NJ. She was born in Tungumuli, Iceland and resided in South Carolina prior to settling in Jackson Twp.
She was predeceased by her parents Strula Kristoferson and Olafia Sigurdardottir; her husband, Edwin Fischer; and by her son Russell Leif Fischer. Lilja is survived by her daughter, L. Cora Scoles; and by her sons, Edward J. Ostrowski, and Gregory G. Fischer.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her visitation from 2-4 and 6-8 PM, on Monday, January 21, 2019, at the GEORGE S. HASSLER FUNERAL HOME, 980 Bennetts Mills Road, Jackson Twp., NJ. A funeral gathering will be offered at 11:30 AM followed by her Funeral Service at 12:00 PM on Tuesday, January 22, 2019, at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Brig. Gen. William C.
