Obituary for Colleen Mary LaBruno (Casserly)
COLLEEN MARY LaBRUNO, 64, of Jackson Twp., NJ, passed away on Sunday, January 20, 2019, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune, NJ. She was born in Hoboken, NJ, and resided in Howell Twp., NJ, prior to settling in Jackson Twp., 12 years ago.
Colleen was employed by the Freehold Board of Education where she worked as a secretary at Freehold Reginal High School prior to her retirement in 2018.
She was predeceased by her parents, Frank and Sarah Casserly. Colleen is survived by her husband of 43 years, Salvatore LaBruno; her sons, Craig LaBruno and his wife, Megan, Salvatore LaBruno and his wife, Tracey, and Joseph LaBruno and his husband, Yasser; her grandchildren, Aiden, Isabella, Gemma and Giavanna; and by her sister, Cheryl Casserly Marcinkiewcz.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her memorial gathering from 5-8 PM on Friday, January 25, 2019, at the GEORGE S. HASSLER FUNERAL HOME, 980 Bennetts Mills Road, Jackson Twp., NJ. Her funeral liturgy will be offered at 10:00 AM on Saturday, January 26, 2019, at St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, 935 Bennetts Mills Road, Jackson Twp., NJ. Please gather at 9:45 AM at the church.
