The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Vincent Nicosia can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

My friend

My friend. We knew each other when we were in High school (Jackson Memoral High School) but after our graduation is when we became very good friends. He not only studied karate with me, he was my best man on my wedding day. For over 47 years we spoke to each other weekly or would have lunch together when he was around and not traveling. We watched our kids grow up and talk about our grandkids whenever we would get together. If I needed Vinnie he would  just be a phone call away. We share so much together that this is hard to see him go. The last time we spoke a day or two just before he went to the hostipal he told me that he was ready but was concerned about his family who he loved and that his brothers and sister along with his boys Patrick and Vinnie Jr. but mainly his grandchirldren how they were going to take it. After his parents passed he decided to step up and become the Monarch by hosting the holiday and summers get togethers for the Nicosia family. I've always admired him for that and the way he got along with his family by keeping the traditions that his Mon and dad past on to him. His humor and wittiness will surely be missed. My dear old friend Vincent John Nicosia.....you are no longer in pain..... May you rest in peace!
